Where are you located?

My current homebase is Rise & Shine Tattoos in Port Lincoln, South Australia. I also frequently visit Adelaide for guest spots and usually work from Fallen Muse in the city.

What are your rates?

I offer half day sessions for a maximum of $600, and full day sessions for $1200. Smaller pieces will be priced on a case by case basis. Each session is to be paid for in full at its conclusion.

What payment methods do you prefer?

I accept cash or direct bank transfer.

How can I make a booking?

The easiest way is to contact me via email at ‘tattoosrandy@gmail.com’

I will then gather all the relevant information to help me understand what you would like, and how best to accomplish that.

I also accept bookings via the Rise & Shine instagram/facebook/email, or in person if you would like to stop by Rise & Shine for a chat (Please be aware that I may be seeing to another client and you may need to wait for a few minutes until we can take a break for a consult.)

To make the booking I will then require a deposit. Deposits can be made via bank transfer or cash.

This deposit is non-refundable, but is transferable should you need to reschedule your appointment for legitimate reasons. A minimum of 48 hours notice would be appreciated if you intend to reschedule your appointment.

Can I see the design before my booking?

I typically begin your drawing a few days before your appointment and finish it the night before. I allow sufficient time at the beginning of every project’s first appointment where we can go over the design together and make any small changes / redraws you would like.

What can I expect on the day of my appointment?

Upon arrival you will be asked to complete a waiver form, and then you can make yourself comfortable in the shop’s waiting area while I finish getting ready. Sometimes; particularly on the first session of a larger piece, it can be an hour or more of refining the design and preparing before we are ready to start, so feel free to bring something to keep yourself entertained and comfortable while you wait. Once the stencil is ready and my tattooing area is set up you will be ushered into the studio room to get started. Please note that our studio is an open plan shared space. While privacy screens are available and all our artists strive to create a safe and welcoming space for all, please be aware that I do not operate from a private room and other artists and their clients may be present throughout the session.

We can stop for a break at any stage of the tattoo, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Do you do cover-ups?

Yes! In most cases I can give you advice on options to fix, cover, or incorporate existing tattoos. Please include a picture of your current tattoo when making a booking.

Do you only do specific styles of tattoo?

Despite my portfolio mainly focusing on my own style of illustrative linework/dotwork I am generally open to most styles of tattooing. I’m also happy to refer clients to other artists who may be better suited to specific styles which fall too far outside of my skill set.

How long have you been tattooing?

I began my apprenticeship in 2011. I’ve been tattooing full time since 2013.

Is your setup / are your inks vegan? Can you cater for latex allergies?

Yes. There are very few products used in modern tattooing that contain animal products. Let me know if you have any specific requirements and I will endeavour to accommodate your needs.

Please feel free to email me any more specific questions you may have.
